Unit 5 Blog

Hello all,

Our blog this week is to describe the differences between the subtle mind and loving kindness exercises. With the subtle mind, I tried to focus in on my breathing but was way too distracted from the day's events to accomplish anything useful with the exercise. The loving kindness approach was trying as well. I just couldn't redirect my thoughts into a clean and precise thinking pattern, but I will say that both exercises can compliment any stress reduction process but it takes patience and lots of practice to get benefit from both programs. There's just too much stimulation out there and especially after a hectic day at work. But......I will continue to plug along and know that the exercises are there for future reference.
